Are these Bible studies free to join?
Yes. Church-hosted Bible studies are free to attend, and groups on Faith Common are free to join and free to run. Some groups ask members to buy a book or study guide, but that is always optional and stated up front.
What if there is no Bible study in my area?
Start one. Two or three people and one book of the Bible is a real Bible study. Use our small group discussion questions and a reading plan, meet weekly for eight weeks, and invite people as you go.
Can I join a Bible study online instead?

What should I expect at my first Bible study?
Usually 6 to 12 people, coffee, about 15 minutes of catching up, 45 minutes reading and discussing a passage, and prayer at the end. You are never required to read aloud, pray aloud, or give money.
